Minister Mable Stewart
This class is based on scriptural methods of resolving problems in today’s society. It starts with the church which is truly the healing place. Awareness of current and past world problems facing the church and the world with the ultimate purpose of bringing the counselee into the knowledge of Jesus Christ. Areas such as abortion, abuse, anger, anxiety, depression, homosexuality, idolatry, loneliness, Godly financial order, grief, guilt, child rearing, parental advice, adolescence, young adulthood, mid-life concerns, late life concerns, interpersonal concerns, singleness, tithing, pre-marital and marital concerns, violence and other pertinent issues and concerns are studied from Biblical worldview. Additionally, anger management methods is taught as a special segment in this class.
About the Instructor
Minister Mable Stewart has been married for nearly 46 years to retired Air Force man, Thomas Lee Stewart Sr., Mable is an educational psychologist and current business owner. She is a published writer and author. She worked with Anne Arundel County Schools as a home hospital teacher and short-term substitute teacher. She served for a short time as the Bible teacher for Jericho Christian Academy teaching the Bible to 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th graders. Minister Mable has been a member of Evangel Cathedral in Upper Marlboro, Maryland since 1992 serving in various ministries such as the Evangel Chorus, Drama and Fine Arts, Tutorial Ministry, Tuesday Prayer and Evangel Teaching Ministry. She is a lifetime student of the Word continually seeking to “come and see,” what the Lord God has in His Word to do. Mable presently teaches Christian Counseling, Anger Management and the Apostle Paul at the Central Bible School. She taught the Book of Job in previous classes at Evangel Bible School. Minister Mable is a member of the national prayer group, the McIntyre Family National Prayer Group out of Palo Alto, California where prayer meetings are held every Wednesday night Eastern Standard Time at 8:30PM. She is also a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors.
